We have a really big family!

Dogs are like humans in many ways.  Each has their own personality; likes, dislikes, quirks, and fears.  We strive to meet each pet's individual physical and emotional needs.  For Example:

• Older dogs who visit with us may choose to spend quiet time sunning on the deck, laying in bed watching birds through the window, or hanging out in the lobby. 
• Younger, outgoing dogs, may want lots of extra outside time playing with a new friend (with your permission of course) or chasing squirrels in the large outdoor play area.
• Shy babies may need a little gentle persuasion to come out of their shell and choose to stick close to us.
• Dogs who are anxious may simply need to receive scratches and smooches in their room or a quiet area to reassure them. 
• Special needs dogs who require medications, therapy, and/or monitoring will receive these services from a Nationally Certified, Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Cats are such unique creatures,  They are sweet, sensitive,  playful, funny, and loving.  They can also be stubborn, opinionated, bossy and very quick to put you in your place.  Sometimes it can be hard to tell which personality you are going to get... We love that about cats!

There is, however, one thing that all cats have in common, they are creatures of habit.  Preparing your cat for a stay anywhere other than their own "kingdom" is stressful.  Below are a few tips that will hopefully make your babies' stay easier.
