Busy Paws Pet Resort
Busy Paws Pet Resort
Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our pricing is inclusive. You will not be charged extra for walks, multiple play times, treats, cuddle time, special bedding, or medication administration. During their stay, your baby is a member of our family and will receive what they need simply because they deserve it.
There are many reasons why you may want to board your pet just for the day. You may have an energetic pup who needs to run off some energy, an older pet that needs medication or monitoring while you are at work, a pet that has separation anxiety, or maybe you are having work done in your home and need a safe place for your pet to stay. We are here to help. Please call or email us about your specific needs.
We have food available but encourage you to bring your pet's normal food and treats. Changing food abruptly can cause digestive issues and make your pets stay less enjoyable.
Bedding, bowls, and toys are provided but you are welcome to bring anything you feel will make your pet's stay more comfortable. We ask that you list each item on the check-in form. It is likely we will want to clean/wash some of those items during your pets stay and a detailed description will help ensure we return them back to you.
Dogs are required to have Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Cats are required to have Rabies and FVRCP. Cats should also have been tested for FIV/FeLV. Please bring us copies of your pet's vaccination records or email them to BusyPawsPetResort@gmail.com
Drop off and pick up are during business hours, by appointment only. We like to spend as much time as possible with the pets in our care and may not be immediately available for walk-in service. If you need to adjust your time please call ahead.
Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 9:00am-6:00pm
Please note, we are closed from 12:00pm-3:00pm each day.
Because we limit the number of pets staying with us, your pet will spend a significant amount of time outside their room (if they choose) with our dedicated staff.
Yes. If your pets would be more comfortable together, we would be happy to accommodate that request. The New York Room and Honey's Room were designed with "cat walks" to help kitties feel safe and comfortable.
Yes. We understand each pet has a different personality and different needs. We only allow guests to interact with the permission of their owner and after we have properly introduced the pets. If your pet only wants to spend time with people, we will make that happen.
No, it is not a problem. We would love to cuddle your little one. Please contact us so we can understand your specific situation and make sure we take the appropriate precautions.
Yes. At check-in, you will be given an access code to check the webcam. If this is your 1st time at Busy Paws, please allow a few extra minutes at check in to download the app. Also, feel free to call as often as you would like for an update.
No, it is not. Please let us know if your pet has not been spayed/neutered during the reservation process. We will need to take a few extra precautions during your pet's stay.
Our on-site veterinary technician has seen many different medical issues. The first thing that will happen is your pet will be assessed by our veterinary technician who will then contact you. If we are unable to reach you within a reasonable amount of time, we will reach out to your emergency contact and a joint decision will be made as to how to proceed. If we are unable to reach you or your alternate contact, our veterinary technician will make the call. We will always try to reach your veterinarian first, however, your pet's health is our priority. If we are not able to get an appointment or we determine it is an emergency, we reserve the right to take your pet to another location.
A refund will be given if your cancellation is received, in writing, at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance. Longer cancellation periods and minimum stays may apply during high-demand times such as holidays.
